New Year? But why a new you?
So here it is, 2017…a NEW YEAR
Time for those new year’s resolutions about being healthier, fitter, more proactive and more productive….and thoughts about procrastinating less in regard to getting up and doing the things you’ve always wanted to do…..again.
Why do we ALWAYS start the year with these ideas and good intentions in mind, why do we wait until January to start doing something we could do in June, or September? I’ve never really worked out why, but I guess its something to do with the ending of the year, and the start of a metaphoric ‘new chapter’ in our lives.
But what if we embraced those changes all year around? What if we took those thoughts and dreams and actioned them at the time of our thinking, what could we achieve? How much time do we waste waiting for the ‘right moment’ to make a difference to ourselves, or our career, or our lifestyle.
I’m excited for 2017, I made my changes back in November, and for the first time in years I return to work with a firm idea of what I want to achieve this year, and how I want to do it. Its not just about the money I can make, or the promotion I want, its about so much more, its about a balance.
This year I am looking forward to speaking to like-minded individuals who are ready to make the changes they want, when they want to – not just when the calendar says its traditional to do so.
Good luck and best wishes for 2017 to all those that have taken the time to read this, please feel free to contact me if I can be of any help this year.
